Louise Crossman Architects is looking for a Part-II architectural assistant/qualified architect to work at its practice in Somerset.

Louise Crossman Architects create homes for private clients and support local cultural projects, where we work exclusively
 in the south-west with its special places, landscape of national parks and distinctive coastlines. We take on opportunities where we can problem solve, add value and be ambitious in our proposals. We craft our architecture to engage and excite the user and we win awards for our work.

We are seeking interior designers, Part-II architectural assistants or recently qualified architects who are excited by residential design and bespoke projects. You should have at least two years post Part-II or in-practice UK experience of working on projects through all RIBA work stages 0 -7. Our work focuses on high-end residential schemes where we have a considered yet friendly approach. Therefore a proven ability to work effectively within a team and be confident in liaising with clients, contractors and other professionals are skills and experience that are needed. You will also need excellent graphic and communication skills, technical knowledge and the ability or ambition to run projects with the support of senior staff.

We work in a collaborative design environment where debate and design review are an important part of studio life. We arrange regular architectural and cultural field trips, support continuing professional development and offer opportunities for career growth within our practice.
