Architect/senior technologist

HKS is looking for an architect/senior technologist with healthcare design experience to join its firm in London.
We are looking for an experienced and talented architect or senior technologist to join our London studio and work on projects within our health practice area. The role requires a candidate with sound technical knowledge and proven experience working across a variety of project stages through to project completion. The candidate should have experience in contractor-led projects ideally with some experience within hospitals and health care.
The role would suit an experienced architect (RIBA Part-3) or senior technologist with proven delivery experience. Alongside a deep technical knowledge the candidate is required to have excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills in English with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multi-task and to manage changing and challenging workloads.
Responsibilities:
- as a member of the health team you will be tasked with delivering high-quality work throughout the design process. Whilst doing so you will develop and nurture strong relationships with our clients and team members
- your responsibilities will include leading on design packages, 3D models, presentations, client liaison, specifications, project controls and reports in line with project scope and deliverables
Qualifications:
- registered architect (RIBA 3) or senior technologist
- significant experience post-qualification
- a proactive and positive attitude
- an outgoing personality with a team-focused approach
- interest in the work of HKS
- experience in managing packages, teams and client relationships
- strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, MS Office
