Part 2 architectural assistants/architects
at HDR
HDR is seeking experienced Part 2 architectural assistants and architects to join its London studio.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part global company ranked no. 4 in the 2019 Building Design World Architecture 100 Survey. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to work on international commercial, science and technology and healthcare projects.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years’ experience working in the UK. Tasks will include developing design options for client presentations; developing technical drawings, schedules and specifications in accordance with RIBA work stage requirements.
Applicants should provide evidence of the following attributes:
- strong creative approach to design and detailing
- proactive and capable of working within a team environment
- capability to translate high-level concepts to detailed design proposals
- self-motivated, highly organised and capable of working on numerous tasks simultaneously
- proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop as a minimum
- experience in Enscape, V-Ray is desirable
- experienced in creating tender packages, construction documents, and writing NBS specifications
- have sound technical knowledge and proven experience working across a variety of project stages from concept to project completion
- have excellent communication skills
- fluency in Mandarin is desirable
