Part 2 architect
at PARTI
PARTI is looking for a Part 2 architect to become part of its team in London.
PARTI is an innovative, design-led studio, interested in expanding the traditional role of the architect by having longer-term involvement in projects. This is a great opportunity to join their talented team.
PARTI have recently gained planning permission for 15 cottages, an event space, a spa, and an artist residency in a disused limestone quarry in the Lake District. PARTI are carrying out the architectural, interior and landscape design, as well as designing selected furniture and products for the scheme. The project will also include exciting collaborations with artists and craftspeople.
PARTI are working on a number of interesting projects, including a creative building for alternative therapies and meditation; a secondary school in North London; a range of public furniture for public spaces across London; and multiple residential projects including a large new-build house in Islington.
The role would suit a creative, experienced, Part 2 architect who would enjoy working in teams and taking on design, management and coordination responsibility.
A successful candidate will need to provide evidence of:
- excellent design skills
- excellent management and communication skills (able to manage a team and liaise with engineers/consultants)
- some technical knowledge
- familiar with the RIBA process
- good time management
- good English writing skills
- proficient in Adobe Suite
- proficient in AutoCAD
- Rhino and V-Ray preferable
