Part-II architectural assistant

Freehaus is currently recruiting for a qualified Part-II architectural assistant to join its growing studio team in London. 

The practice has a wide portfolio including cultural, educational, commercial and residential work, a selection of which can be found on our website. Our design output is wide ranging from architecture, interiors,  branding and product design.

The suitable candidate will have excellent design awareness and have some experience across both concept and technical stages of delivery. They must display imaginative and creative thinking skills as well as a practical and technical understanding of building materials, structures and services.

We are ideally looking for someone who has the ability, ambition and passion to become an Architect and an integral part of our ‘can do’ team. We are committed to nurturing the successful candidate for this role through to obtaining their Part-III qualifications and beyond.

It is a prerequisite the applicant demonstrates good communication skills, as our whole team are client facing.  They must also have excellent organisational and time management abilities, an engaging and positive attitude, good self-motivation and self-discipline.

To be successful you must demonstrate:

  • 2D MicroStation experience is essential. 3D preferable
  • fluency with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills are essential
  • proficient 3D skills using SketchUp or Rhino
  • have achieved a distinction or merit in their post-graduate qualification from a leading university
