Spaceagency has an opening for a graphic designer at its London studio.

Spaceagency is looking for a full-time graphic designer to join our team in central London on exciting, high-profile international projects. Our expertise includes wayfinding, city identity, placemaking, retail and hospitality design. Our client portfolio includes cities, global brands and collaborations with leading architectural studios. Projects will include wayfinding for world sporting events and world expos, city wayfinding schemes and retail and hospitality projects.

This is an environmental graphic design role working with a committed and talented design team alongside leading architects and urban designers. First and foremost, you must be an experienced graphic designer who loves to work in spatial design. You will work on a range of projects from initial workshops with clients, research, concept, design and implementation. As an environmental graphic designer, you’ll get the opportunity to work on graphic design applied to spaces, typography, style guidelines and manuals, supergraphics, information systems and the design of mapping. Like us, you are driven by quality, have set a high bar and have a passion for your work. Ideally, you will be looking for that next move in your career, having spent the past few years working in a comparable studio/team environment.

Qualifications and role requirements:

  • a conceptual and strategic thinker
  • excellent 2D software skills: Adobe Creative Suite
  • some spatial design skills
  • design talent and an outstanding portfolio of professional design experience which must include examples of visual communication in the built environment
  • strong analytical skills
  • proactive, confident, can-do attitude
  • flexibility ─ in a small business staff are involved in all areas of work
  • drive, determination and flexibility
  • excellent communication skills – professional written and verbal English
  • availability to interview in London, eligibility to begin work immediately in London with a current valid working visa for the UK
