MORE Architecture is seeking a Mandarin-speaking architect to join its team in Shanghai, China.
MORE Architecture is a research-based design firm with offices in Shanghai and Amsterdam. MORE Architecture works on a wide range of projects from urban strategy to interior design. Currently, MORE Architecture has various projects under construction, including a boutique hotel, and a museum.
For an increasing number of very exciting projects in China, we are looking for talented, inspiring, critical Mandarin-speaking architects to join our team. We’re looking for killer designers with a hands-on attitude, strong technical skills and a positive energy.
As a member of our team, you will contribute to amazing projects from concept to construction. You will communicate directly with clients, contractors, consultants and suppliers. You will be based in our office in the former French Concession in Shanghai.
Requirements:
- master degree in architecture (or another relevant field)
- two years of working experience in renowned offices in China
- fluency in Mandarin and English
- strong conceptual thinking and design talent
- strong AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Suite skills
- strong rendering skills to communicate your ideas
- expertise in technical detailing and material research
- experience in having your (interior) designs built
- competence to present your work to colleagues and clients
- ability to work well in an international team
- outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
