Description
Jailmake require an enthusiastic and experienced studio and project manager to maintain the studio, liaise with clients/studio and schedule project work from conception to completion. Our projects range from high-end furniture and lighting to commercial visual merchandising and immersive multimedia environments.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- supplier relationship management (negotiating, sourcing and contacting suppliers)
- client relationship management (liaising with clients)
- estimating, preparing and issuing quotations with lead times
- being the first point of contact for orders and payments and studio phone calls
- liaising between clients and studio
- issuing invoices, tracking and statements
- planning schedule of work with production/workshop manager
- managing and updating estimate spreadsheets and budgets
- ad hoc studio and project-related administration
- facilities and resource management
- booking couriers, freelancers, handling post
- overseeing projects timelines and budgets
- organising and maintaining the running of the office
- assisting the bookkeeper
- maintain studio calendar (updating relevant parties)
- dealing with correspondence and phone calls on behalf of the director
- booking and arranging travel, accommodation and transport
- typing, compiling presentations and correspondence
- managing databases and filing systems (Google Drive)
- boost moral of studio by organising days out or team activities.
Key tasks:
- project filing and admin
- raising and issuing quotations
- managing cash flow/budgets
- record-keeping
- scheduling and booking deliveries
You will have:
- a minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar creative industry role
- preferably qualified to degree level in a relevant subject
- exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- strong planning skills and time management
- high degree of numeracy and literacy
- a confident, warm and positive attitude
- the ability to work autonomously
- genuine interest in our work and the desire to provide a high level of service
- professional fluency in English language and a valid UK/EU passport or international work visa
- computer literate on Mac computers
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- proficient in health and safety practices
