Architectural assistants/graphic designers - funded work placement
Capacity is looking for Ireland-based architectural assistants/graphic designers to join its Erasmus programme in Seville.
Funded three-month architectural assistant work placements in Seville
Capacity Ireland is offering European Union funded paid work experience opportunities through the Erasmus+ programme.
Successful applicants will also work towards a Level 3 certificate in Entrepreneurship for European Creative Industries vocational qualification which is aimed at providing the skills and knowledge for those considering a freelancing career.
Successful applications will receive €120 per week allowance and accommodation — typically a flat share with other people participating in the project, flights and travel insurance, along with language tuition both before you depart and whilst in Spain. Tuition of the vocational qualification associated with the placement is also provided. This is all paid for by the project.
To be eligible applicants must be currently residing within the Republic of Ireland — applications from individuals not resident in Republic of Ireland will not be considered and must have the right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland and Spain. Students are not eligible thus we regret we are unable to accept applications from individuals looking for ‘year in industry’ placements.
Placements are for fixed periods of 92 days or 13 weeks and it is a requirement that you spend the full period in the host country Spain. The departure date will be Saturday 21 April 2018.
There will be three days of preparatory training in Dublin immediately before departure to Seville. Attendance at the training is a requirement of the programme and participation is compulsory. This training will take place Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 April 2018.
How to apply
Please submit an up to date CV along with a completed application form to [email protected].
Please make sure that your CV and application form files are titled with your full name, followed by CV/application form rather than generic file names such as ‘My CV’, ‘CV English version’, ‘application form’, etc. This will make it much easier for us to deal with and respond to your application.
As this Erasmus program is only available for residents of the Republic of Ireland- no other applicants will be considered.
The initial deadline for applications is 19 March 2018.
