Digital marketing assistant
Designjunction is currently looking for a digital marketing assistant to join its team in London.
Designjunction is London’s leading contemporary design show, taking place each year at the new King’s Cross development. We present 200 brands to an audience of 28,000 design trade and wider creative industries. As well as being a meeting place for design and architecture trade, designjunction is a destination for culture, inspiration and ideas, with massive marketing reach.
We’re a small, creative team within a large organisation, who execute a strong, six-month campaign in the build up to the show. We work with the most exciting designers and brands in the world, and our show is covered in national newspapers and TV.
The role
We’re looking for a dynamic, data-driven marketer with two-three years’ experience. The candidate’s role is to support the marketing team, and be our eyes and ears on the digital world. There is an opportunity to own this high growth area for our business.
Ideally, you have worked in digital marketing for a creative/ luxury brand, or an event. You are a logical thinker who can make sense of systems, and put new systems in place to harness ideas in a creative, quick-moving environment.
The candidate will:
- operate our social channels, and use analytic tools to support creative marketing campaigns
- programme web content and manage SEO; tell us how analytics can help achieve our goals
- input newsletter content, build and mail-out of our newsletters, and devise segmented campaigns to different parts of our data
- coordinate with the team and our digital partners to fulfil agreements
- work with our registration contractor to manage the ticketing system
- be the team expert on new digital systems
- report all of the above in a digestible format on a weekly basis
Our dream candidate has all of this experience, but we’re also interested in hearing from people who tick most of the boxes :
- Social: experience managing multiple social channels, ability to pick up tone of voice, knowledge of social analytics tools
- Website: experience managing website content through CMS, demonstrable experience of both improving SEO and using analytics to achieve specific goals
- Design: experience with image editing in Adobe programmes, and a sense of what looks good
- Data: experience using a newsletter CMS to issue mail-outs to multiple lists; and of managing several data sources
- Ticketing: experience using ticketing systems from launch to on-site at the event
