Architect
Lucy Wood Architects is looking for an architect to become part of its team in London.
Young and ambitious, Lucy Wood Architects are growing steadily and looking for an experienced architect with at least three years’ experience post-Part 3.
Based in Clapham, London, we’re a small team that work together, focus on the detail, listen to our clients, and enjoy spending time to make sure that we get everything just right.
If you have experience of high-end residential architecture, interior architecture and interior design in London; knowledge of UK planning and building regulations; proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp and perhaps some Revit experience, please send your CV and relevant examples of your work using the ‘apply’ link below.
We will:
- offer you the opportunity to guide the conceptual and detailed design of projects
- facilitate the development of your career as part of a growing design studio
- provide a creative, friendly and energetic working environment
You will:
- develop and manage the conceptual and detailed design phases
- produce drawings and 3D visualisations to capture and communicate the design intent
- participate in regular design workshops with clients
- undertake the production of information for tender purposes and play an active role in negotiations with contractors
- source and specify external materials, interior fittings and finishes, and furniture
- work alongside suppliers, fabricators and manufacturers to procure specialist items
- work closely with other consultants to coordinate pre-construction information
- undertake regular site visits during construction and fulfil the CA role
