Part-III architect
Sandy Rendel Architects is looking for a project architect to join its London team.
SRA are a design-led and award-winning London practice. We are looking for a talented and experienced qualified architect to join our small team in Southwark.
The role will offer the right candidate an opportunity to work on an exciting new-build home in the first instance, and opportunity to become an integral member of a small team.
Our ideal candidate would have:
- a minimum of three years’ post Part-III practice experience, ideally in UK practice
- experience and proven ability in leading projects at all stages
- experience in leading complex planning applications
- experience on site and in administering contracts
- experience in residential design & bespoke domestic work
- strong design skills and an interest in materials, construction methods and detailing
- a conscientious, pro-active and enthusiastic approach
- excellent communication and presentation skills and confidence in engaging with design professionals and clients
- working knowledge of Vectorworks 2D and ideally 3D, and Adobe Suite
- good sketching ability
- excellent written and spoken English essential
Salary subject to experience.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and available to start in April/May.
