Oxalis Landscape Architects is looking for a landscape architect/architect to join its studio in Geneva, Switzerland.
Oxalis Landscape Architects are a design studio based in Geneva. We are known for our bespoke projects, realised principally in Suisse Romande, in cooperation with a variety of local and international clients and partners.
Assignment:
- technical contract administration of the UN Strategic Heritage Plan Landscape, with SOM/BP. CAD, English and French
- participation in development of residential, administrative and public/collective projects
- BIM management of landscape projects
Desired profile:
- education equivalent to HES BSc and/or MSc, with a minimum of 24 months experience in a design office (arch. or landscape arch.)
- experience and competence of BIM (Revit). Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- English: native language or advanced level (C1)
- French: advanced level preferred (C1), minimum intermediate (B2)
- German : C1 or B2 advantageous
- desire and capacity to work on several projects concurrently, at different phases and scales
- a fluency in reading architectural and topographical work
- pragmatic and logical approach to their work, with excellent attention to detail
- knowledge of planting on slab, green roof construction is advantageous
- Probationary period three months – start date 01.05.2018 (or tbc) CDI 100%.
Equipped with a wide experience in studies and completed projects for public/private partnerships, companies and international organisations, our team is interested in the relationship between the built and natural environments, as well as planting as an expression of life when conferred on environmental, social and urban contexts.
