Arclinea is seeking a kitchen design assistant to join its team in London.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual with a passion for design and a minimum of two years’ experience within kitchen design world. The candidate must be able to listen, and work collaboratively with the senior designer/sales team and the end client. Helping to produce beautiful presentations and associated cost proposals for our clients

Job description:

• dealing comfortably with high net worth individuals, architects, interior designers and other associated professionals
• working alongside colleagues, taking a project from initial brief, through design, costing to final confirmation
• with the aid of the senior team the candidate should be able to provide drawings for construction, ordering and service drawings for issue to contractors
• requesting and reviewing quotation for worktops and other specialist items
• ordering furniture, worktops, and preparing clear documents to be passed to our order processing team and project managers
• meeting and greeting clients within the showroom and assisting clearly with enquiries
• attending site surveying at the initial stages and pre/post-installation alongside project manager and senior team members
• documenting prospects and developing leads
• Arclinea will actively aid in the development of the candidate, helping to grow ones skillset and knowledge

Candidate essential skills:

• a good/proficient working knowledge of design software. Winner and Vectorworks would be beneficial
• a happy and kind team member
• Excel literate and happy working with figures
• dealing comfortably with high net worth individuals, architects, interior-designers and other associated professionals
• keeping an awareness of current design trends and materials
• a good understand of materials and Appliances – With the company nurturing
• importance placed upon customer service, through-out the clients experience
