Architect/Part 2 architectural assistant

Makower Architects is looking for an architect/Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Makower Architects is seeking architects and experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistants with residential delivery experience to join its London team. The successful candidate will work on large scale residential projects in varying stages, from tender to construction. The length of the full-time short-term contract will vary depending on the role. There is the potential for the short-term contract to turn into permanent position.
Applicants MUST have complete proficiency in Revit and demonstrate strong technical and design skills.
The right candidate must meet the following primary criteria:
- experience delivering large scale residential projects in the UK
- thorough knowledge of Revit/BIM
- RIBA Stages 3, 4 and 5 experience
- technical knowledge and skills
- tender documents and construction detailing and documentation
- knowledge of building regulations and new Part B
- experience working with NBS specifications
- knowledge of and experience in standard residential exterior brick cladding system is an advantage
- knowledge of and experience in standard british gypsum drylining details is an advantage
- experience and knowledge of approved document Part M and national described space standards and unit layouts
- good spoken and written English
The candidate does not need to be based in London or the UK. They may work remotely.
