Junior/mid-weight CAD designer

Claudia Dorsch Interior Design is seeking a junior/mid-weight CAD designer to join its team in London.
We are a Hampstead based BIID registered practice working on high end residential projects predominantly in north London but also across the capital, the UK and abroad.
We are looking for a professional with drive and passion and exceptional attention to detail to join our team. You are working directly for and with the creative business director and the studio designers. You will design and prepare detailed technical drawings and schedules to assist with the execution of all projects.
In our studio, you have the opportunity to develop your skills working on an excellent brand and portfolio of varied and challenging projects, to gain exposure with clients and work on all aspects of the interior design process from acquisition to completion. For the right candidate we can offer permanent employment and career progression .
Initially we offer a role for September – December but this can lead to a permanent employment next year.
Please send your CV and portfolio if you meet these requirements:
- graduate or post graduate education in architecture/interior architecture
- fluent in English with excellent written and verbal skills
- minimum work experience two plus years in architect/interior design studio with experience in residential design (must have worked on detailed drawings in 2D and 3D for all types of rooms inc kitchens, bathrooms, and lighting plans) and complex joinery design
- fluent and excellent in AutoCAD Lite inc renders
- fluent and excellent in Sketchup for 3D inc renders
- fluent and excellent in Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe suite to produce presentations, videos etc.
- all Microsoft applications – excellent skills to work with Excel on pricing and schedules and specifications
- you will need to know or learn ESTIPC for budgeting and project sourcing
- you want to contribute creative ideas and vision for spatial planning as well as design details and finishes, you are meticulous and you can work independently with a growth mindset
