Pollard Thomas Edwards is seeking a head of BIM to join its team in London.
Head of BIM
We are currently looking for an experienced head of BIM to join our growing team in London. Reporting to the partners, the role will be responsible for a BIM coordinator and a BIM technician.
The head of BIM role provides leadership, oversight and coordination in the practice, in order to promote the adoption and consistent application of BIM across projects.
Salary according to experience.
Key areas of responsibility:
- work with the senior leadership to develop goals and strategic plans to implement/improve BIM workflow
- act as a connection between the workshops, staff and projects on BIM and Revit matters
- ensure that new strategies match with the business’ goals
- maintain benchmarking to measure the process made
- report monthly to the management forum and annually to partners
- act as interface manager between IT and senior management team
- maintain standards to assure compliance is maintained at annual BIM level 2 accreditation surveillance visits
Personal skills required:
- familiarity with Autodesk BIM360 applications
- solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices
- familiarity with design applications
- articulate, passionate and persuasive communicator able to convey BIM concepts to all levels of design and delivery professionals and clients
- team player
- strong written and verbal communication skills
