Black and Milk, an interior design studio, is looking for an FF&E procurement manager and project coordinator to join their team.
We are a small team of professionals dedicated to creating highly bespoke, high-end homes for private clients, mainly in the prime London area. We handle every step of the creation process from design, project management and procurement of FF&E items with a high proportion of bespoke products.
We are looking for an experienced FF&E Procurement Manager who will be supporting the Interior Design team in creating the finest UK homes. The ideal person will be highly numerical, tenacious and have a keen eye for detail. Project planning and keeping things organised will be in your blood.
Main duties:
- plan and manage all procurement and installation activities for the studio
- liaise with suppliers: negotiating price, request quotes and samples, confirm specification, place orders, control deliveries
- liaise with contractors: issue and confirm product specification; coordinate deliveries, installations and works on site
- invoice clients and keep them updated about the procurement process
- control and manage project budget and timeline
- research new suppliers and maintain the database with existing ones
- resolve aftercare issues
Skills and experience:
- two to three years experience in a similar capacity
- good knowledge of contemporary high-end FF&E market: second fix, loose furniture, window dressing
- demonstrate understanding of bespoke product specifications e.g. joinery, custom loose furniture
- excellent English and great communication skills
- pro excel skills
- knowledge of project management and planning tools is a benefit
- experience with ivy/estimac or similar is a plus
