The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland is seeking a head of marketing and communications to join its team in Edinburgh.

Salary: salary band £35-£45K
Location: RIAS, 15 Rutland Square, Edinburgh, EH1 2BE (flexible home/ office working)
Hours: full-time (35 hours per week)
Responsible to: CEO
Start date: immediate
The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland is looking for a head of communications to work with the CEO, RIAS President, senior staff, RIAS members (individually and through committees) to deliver the RIAS marketing and communications plan. Communications and media relations are a key part of the RIAS business and will involve working across the organisation including responsibility for all public and member facing communications, marketing for membership, commercial and all RIAS business areas (consultancy, practice services, CPD, regs schemes, RIAS bookshop and rutland square room hire etc).
This is a senior level position, and the postholder is expected to contribute to strategic thinking within the team at RIAS, helping to develop our communications and outreach policies.
The tasks for this role fall into several categories and there is some flexibility about which projects may be developed within the RIAS team.

The starting salary for this post will be £35K.
