Job description
We currently have an opportunity for an accomplished senior interior designer to join our busy, friendly and fast-paced studio, working on top end residential and commercial projects.
Our ideal candidate is a graduate with five plus years industry experience and a strong project management background, including experience overseeing project budgets and supervising a design team. You’ll need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team, show versatility, be innovative and have a meticulous approach. We are looking for a senior designer who can hit the ground running but ideally wishes to find a long-term position in our studio and grow along with us.
The role requires the candidate to manage the team at Suzy Hoodless, reporting directly to Suzy who as owner/director oversees all but focuses on creative direction.
The successful candidate will have instant access into a thriving design studio where they will be involved in all aspects of interior design.
Essential skills include Vectorworks (preferred) or AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Outlook. 3D modelling (SketchUp/Vectorworks 3D or hand-drawn) for the use in visuals would be advantageous .
The studio uses Mac.
Salary dependent on experience.
