HR assistant

Populous is recruiting a HR assistant to join its London-based team.

We are seeking a Human Resources assistant to join the London team working alongside the HR manager and HR advisor. This is a generalist role and you will be the first point of contact for all employees and contractors.

You will be involved in the end to end cycle of employment including:

– recruitment
– work experience placements
– induction and off boarding
– probation and performance reviews
– absence and ER cases
– attendance monitoring
– learning and development
– HR systems management
– you will also liaise with other Populous offices and collate employment data for the preparation of board reports and bid
submissions

Skills, knowledge and attributes:

– a qualification in Human Resources or proven experience in this field
– an understanding of UK Employment Law
– the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
– an excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
– the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
– exceptional interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships at all levels
– accuracy and attention to detail
– an advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
– prior experience of HR information and/or applicant tracking systems
