Morpheus & Co is hiring a senior interior designer to join its team in London.

Morpheus & Co is actively recruiting for an outstanding French-speaking senior designer with proven experience in high-end hospitality and residential developments to join our award-winning, creative team.

Based from our stunning studio in Vauxhall, we are looking for a full-time candidate at senior level to contribute to and/or lead several new exciting interior design projects in the hotel, branded residences and residential development sectors both in the UK and overseas. The ability to communicate confidently and concisely in French would be hugely beneficial due to the nature of some of our larger development projects.

Working closely with the design director, the senior designer will take a proactive approach to the delivery of both the design information and the project, the organisation of the design and, where applicable, managing the resourcing of, and leading, the design team. In addition to possessing first rate design skills, the successful candidate will be confident in managing programme budgets and reporting both internally and to clients, as required.

Qualifications:

  • a professional degree in interior design, architecture or related field
  • ideally five plus years’ relevant experience
  • advanced written and spoken French language skills
  • robust skills and autonomy in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign (3DS Max preferable)
  • good working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
  • first rate communication, client-facing and team building skills
  • strong creative flair
  • confidence in FF&E integration
  • ability to question & interpret brief
  • strong organisational and management skills
  • flexible, adaptable and a team player
