Holloways of Ludlow is hiring a furniture and lighting consultant to join its team in Bath, UK.
Holloways of Ludlow is a family owned furniture and lighting retailer, who have become leaders in the design industry by consistently sourcing and supplying a range of timeless design classics across the UK.
We are seeking a creative, confident and enthusiastic furniture and lighting consultant to join the team in our Bath showroom. A strong interest in design and interior spaces, as well as a deep understanding of the brands we work with is essential.
Strong communication skills and sales experience in a design-orientated field is required.
The successful candidate will approach sales in an honest and personable manner, providing an exceptional level of service to our customers with both speed and precision.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
- delivering a service where building rapport with customers is key, whilst establishing long-standing relationships with local architects & interior designers
- communicating with management and the various teams across the company to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- curating the showroom through creative visual merchandising
- achieving monthly and annual sales targets
- self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, as well as in a team, and being able to interact at all levels with a variety of brands and customers
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- happy with moving and lifting furniture
Position: full-time, 40 hours per week, based in our Bath showroom
Salary: negotiable depending on experience
