Part 2 architect
at Tikari Works
Tikari Works is looking for a Part 2 architect to join its award-winning London based studio.
Tikari Works is an unconventional architecture and property development company based near London Bridge. The office’s unique business structure provides a platform for experimentation beyond the scope of the traditional practice, with the aim of engaging the built environment in a way that is rigorously analytical, soulful, and sustainable.
Within this framework we have an immediate need for a Part 2 architect to join our small team working to design and deliver exciting new residential projects in London. You will be given the opportunity to develop design ideas, test them through digital and physical models and prepare technical details for construction. You will be actively encouraged to contribute to the projects design refinement and will be involved in all stages from technical detailing to on site quality control.
The ideal candidate will have excellent design skills, a solid technical base and most importantly a positive can-do attitude with a willingness to think dynamically, take responsibility and solve problems.
Key requirements:
- passionate designer with a strong interest in making and construction
- portfolio demonstrating good technical and design skills
- diploma or Master’s in architecture
- minimum two years’ work experience
- proficient with a range of 2D and 3D Software
- knowledge of Microstation 2D an advantage
- self-motivated, eager to learn and ability to manage risks
- well organised with good time-management skills
- UK right to work mandatory
