Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt is seeking a BIM technician to join its team in Hampshire, UK.

Due to exciting expansion plans, we are urgently seeking a BIM Technician to join our team in Hampshire to work on some exciting new projects and to help us take the practice forward. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit: creation of parametric families; cloud work-sharing, troubleshooting efficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (documents module) and a good working knowledge of Navisworks.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual to work alongside the Senior BIM Coordinator to:

  • be the go-to-person for how-to and project troubleshooting in Autodesk Revit and other related software
  • assist the team in producing accurate, well-presented 3D models and drawings when required
  • develop and maintain model content (Revit families) and main library model
  • support the senior BIM Coordinator with preparing training material and lead workshop when required
  • provide feedback on the team’s requirements for training
  • monitor model health and ensure compliance with ACG’s internal protocols, Project BIM Execution Plan and BIM related EIRs
  • assist teams with clash avoidance and clash detection
  • setup Revit models and manage user access to Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • collaborating to assist with providing IT support with our studio

There is a requirement for the post holder to recognise this and adopt a flexible approach to work.
