There is an opportunity for an office manager to join Design Squared in London.

We are looking for an office manager to assist as we continue to expand.

Design Squared is a London-based design consultancy, working primarily in the residential and commercial sectors throughout the UK. Established in 2007, the practice has successfully completed over seven hundred building projects and has developed an extensive portfolio. We undertake a broad spectrum of architectural projects (approximately 100 a year), managing the design process from concept through to completion. We also offer a range of complementary services, including interior design, party wall surveying and contract administration.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• liaising with management to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office
• HR administration, recruitment and staff inductions
• practice marketing and management of social media platforms
• general administrative tasks such as accurately filing and updating the company systems
• answering telephone calls in a timely and professional manner
• ensuring the office is tidy and all visitors/clients are well looked after
• organising team events
• track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• assisting in preparing, printing and binding documents
• supporting the design team where necessary

Essential skills/experience:

• organised and able to work unsupervised
• excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• experience in preparing Gantt charts/schedules
• excellent written and spoken English
• confident and highly motivated
• ability to work under strict deadlines
• knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial
• previous experience working for an architectural practice would also be beneficial, but not essential
