FF&E procurement assistant

Lambart and Browne is seeking an FF&E procurement assistant to join its team in London.
Lambart and Browne Limited are looking for an FF&E procurement specialist to assist the Procurement Manager in managing the procurement process for all projects while coordinating budgets and installations.
Overview
Reporting to the procurement manager, you will provide support to the interior design team by assisting in the FF&E procurement across various projects in a timely and efficient manner. The ability to organise your time and communicate well is essential as these projects require a high level of attention to detail at every stage.
Key responsibilities will include:
- assisting in monitoring and managing procurement of all projects
- product research – furniture, fabrics, etc.
- managing and sourcing of samples
- ordering furniture
- creating purchase orders
- putting together fabric schedules and cutting sheets
- assisting in the coordination of delivery and installation logistics
- preparing furniture budgets and monitoring cost during the purchasing stage
- liaising with and managing suppliers to control lead times and delivery of all items in conjunction with the programme schedule
- assisting in the quality control of all furniture at manufacturers workshops and on site
- assisting with snagging and resolution of after care issues
Requirements
You will need to be confident liaising with:
- furniture manufacturers and suppliers
- logistics companies (delivery and installation)
- specialist suppliers (joinery, curtains, artwork)
- fabric suppliers
- building managers
Software
Estimac or similar, Adobe, InDesign, Microsoft Word and Excel (essential).
You will have worked in the furniture industry already and will have experience of procurement and project management. A good knowledge of various furniture styles and suppliers is essential.
