Dezeen Awards assistant

Dezeen is looking for an assistant to join its Dezeen Awards team in London.
Created by Dezeen, the world’s most popular and influential architecture and design magazine, Dezeen Awards is the most popular and accessible awards programme in the architecture, interiors and design industry.
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive person to help grow our awards programme.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- driving awards entries and entries revenue growth
- writing and assembling awards content for newsletters and editorial posts on Dezeen
- writing and posting on Dezeen and Dezeen Awards’ social media channels
- liaising with awards judges, sponsors and media partners
- researching potential projects and studios to enter Dezeen Awards
- responding to awards-related enquiries
- providing regular sales and traffic reports for Dezeen Awards
- assisting with key activities/events during entry period, longlisting, shortlisting, judging, master jury sessions, public vote and winners announcements
- creating graphics and artwork for banners and across content channels
- assisting with general admin duties including dealing with invoicing and payments
We want someone who is engaging, well-organised and highly motivated. You should be results-driven and meticulous with detail.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication and project management skills. Knowledge of the architecture and design industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
You must also be able to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. English fluency is essential.
The position is based at Dezeen’s office in Hoxton, London. However, we offer flexible and remote working opportunities to our team.
