Rhode Partners is looking for a designer – interiors to join its team in Austin, USA.
We have an exciting opening for a highly motivated, passionate, and forward-thinking designer with significant interiors experience to contribute to our downtown Austin studio. We have several new and exciting projects on the boards including hotel, office, and residential towers, all with a prominent design initiative.
As a Designer, you will assist the project team during the design phases with design development, precedent research and graphic production. You will need to show a strong understanding of the design philosophy of projects and relating assigned tasks to that philosophy. Working within a project team, you will help develop designs, select finishes, and coordinate details and dimensions. Other duties include preparing conceptual storyboards, obtaining samples, and attending project meetings. Materials research and guidance in developing details is also required.
Desired experience
We are looking for a design professional with at least five years’ professional experience. The ideal candidate has strong design, visualization, and presentation sensibilities. Experience with mixed-use/high-rise/office/hotel/projects is required.
