Mid-weight to senior interior designer
at Amos and Amos

Amos and Amos are seeking a mid-weight to senior interior designer to join their team in London.

We are a fun, hardworking, friendly and collaborative studio where the team work across a varied selection of projects at all times. Our focus is on creating exceptional spaces within the residential development sector, spanning apartment and penthouse interiors, to amenity offers such as libraries, co-working spaces, gyms, lounges and bars. We pride ourselves on creating aspirational spaces which continuously raise the bar within the sector for both residents and developers.

At Amos and Amos we strongly believe in prioritising the wellbeing of our team and close the studio whenever possible on the last Friday of every month. These 12 days are in addition to annual leave allowance, and are fully paid.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about contemporary design with at least five years’ professional design experience post degree in commercial or residential development interiors. They will work closely alongside their fellow team members and will need to inspire the wider team with innovative ideas.

The following skills and experience are essential:

  • strong creative thinker with the ability to lead the creative process and develop innovative, aspirational interiors with detailing, materiality and thoughtful consideration at their core
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • excellent FF&E/material/product knowledge is essential, with strong relationships with local suppliers established. The successful candidate will have a passion for FF&E, with the ability to produce beautiful, innovative and sophisticated furniture and lighting proposals which are unique to each design scheme
  • strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, and prioritise across multiple projects
  • familiarity with UK regulations, codes and best practice
  • work within an agreed scope and deliver information to tight deadlines
  • produce and prepare presentation material
  • strong experience in designing bespoke joinery and furniture
  • ability to work to project budgets and exercise VE solutions when required
  • excellent presentation skills
  • proficient in Vectorworks
  • exceptional SketchUp, indesign and photoshop skills
