Michael Jones Architects is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Michael Jones Architects is a medium sized, award-winning, architectural practice based in Richmond, South West London.
Current work includes new-build private houses, listed building restorations, churches, nursery schools and university projects.
We are looking for enthusiastic Part 2 architectural assistants to join our friendly team. The level of responsibility would depend on experience, but you would be heavily involved in projects through all the stages, from concept design, through planning, detailed design and on to site.
Range of work and responsibility gives excellent experience and opportunity for advancement to Part 3 and beyond.
Successful applicants should have achieved a 1st or 2.1 honours diploma/masters degree or equivalent, have the right to work in the UK and have UK experience, ideally within the high end private residential sector. You must be able to demonstrate strong design and technical / detailing skills, and confidence to work autonomously and as part of a team. Good hand drawing skills would be a benefit.
High street office, five minutes walk from Richmond station with a strong social emphasis including annual trips away, sports, office lunches and Friday drinks.
