Part 2 assistant/Part 3 architect

AtelierWest is hiring a Part 2 assistant/Part 3 architect to join its team in London.
AtelierWest is a young growing practice, based near Parsons Green, West London. AW specialise in high-end residential architecture across London and the South East, and also work on a variety of projects spanning retail, office, hospitality and education sectors.
AW work with a mixture of private clients and London-based/international developers; we work on refurbishments and new-builds.
We were established in 2011 and have been growing ever since. We have recently been awarded a number of new large scale exciting projects and as a result are looking to strengthen and expand our team.
AW are actively looking to employ a Part 3 architect (one to three years’ post-qualification), or very experienced Part 2 architectural assistant working towards RIBA accreditation. The role would include heading up projects across all stages; including production of tender packages for a number of high-end Knightsbridge and Chelsea residential schemes, product specification, site supervision, and preparing and submitting planning and listed building applications to a variety of boroughs.
The ideal candidate would have:
- high end residential design experience
- construction pack production knowledge and experience
- experience in producing and submitting planning and listed building applications
- understanding of UK design standards and building regulations in the UK
- competent level of professional spoken English
- ability to take on responsibility and run projects on their own, and in a team
- Vectorworks experience preferable
- SketchUp, Adobe preferable
Salary will be commensurate with experience. We presently have Friday as a home-working day.
