Part-I Architectural Assistant
Niall McLaughlin Architects is seeking a highly motivated Part-I architectural assistant to join its busy London office.
Applicants should hold RIBA Part-I or equivalent qualification. They should be able to demonstrate excellent design, communication, coordination and presentation skills.
Candidates will need to be well-organised, able to multi-task and be comfortable working in a team. Previous experience in a design-led environment and proficiency in the use of Vectorworks, SketchUp/Rhino and InDesign will be a distinct advantage. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities include:
- hand drawing and drawing using CAD
- producing 3D images using CAD, rendering packages, photoshop
- creating 3D physical models
- contributing to reports
- producing/ maintaining other documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- participating in design debate
- attending and contributing to meetings
- liaising with consultants
- researching products, materials, buildings as directed
