Architectural assistant

Graham Handley Architects is seeking a Part 1 or Part 2 architectural assistant to join its office in Cambridgeshire, UK.
Graham Handley Architects have over three decades experience in producing high quality architecture in the residential, conservation/heritage, retail and commercial sectors, on projects across central and eastern England.
The successful applicant will have:
- proficiency in Vectorworks (with good 2D and 3D skills) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Indesign mainly)
- excellent design skills, together with knowledge of technical design and detailing (Part 2) or an enthusiasm and awareness of technical design and detailing (Part 1)
- the determination and enthusiasm to listen to and understand the client’s requirements and produce a high quality design in response
- a desire to learn
- a passion for sustainable and low energy design
- excellent written, verbal and communication skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- a UK driving licence, though this is advantageous but not essential
Graham Handley Architects offer a competitive salary and remuneration package including enrolment into the office pension scheme. The office functions in a hybrid arrangement, though the successful applicant will be expected to be present in the office in St. Ives a minimum of three days a week.
