Strom Architects is looking for a Part-I architectural assistant to join its growing team in Lymington, Hampshire.
Strom Architects is a small, award-winning architectural practice based in Lymington, Hampshire.
We are looking for a talented architectural assistant with a burning passion for design to join our studio to work on a growing portfolio of mainly one-off houses, both in the UK and abroad.
As a small office, you will be assisting the project architects with delivering projects, but also work closely with the director on new schemes, as well as assisting with various general office tasks.
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- RIBA Part-I/II or equivalent qualification
- strong design portfolio
- ability to work as part of a team but also individually – must be able to take initiative
- ability to work to a varying workload and tight deadlines
- excellent written and spoken English
- excellent SketchUp skills
- proficient in VectorWorks and Adobe Suite
- full UK/EU driving licence
- Spanish and/or Swedish languages would be an advantage
