MortonScarr Architects is hiring architects and/or architectural assistants to join its team in Brighton, UK.
MortonScarr Architects is looking for talented architects and/or architectural assistants to join our intimate and friendly Brighton studio and work on a diverse range of exciting projects, including bespoke private homes and developer residential schemes.
We are a close-knit practice, and the right personality is just as important to us as your technical skills, so we’re seeking someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and thrives in a studio environment.
Key skills and requirements:
- qualification: RIBA Part 1/2/3
- software proficiency: strong command of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is essential. Revit experience is helpful, but not essential
- sketching: a genuine passion for hand sketching and design exploration is key to our process
- project experience: previous experience working on residential schemes, and of successfully delivering projects from concept to completion on site
- teamwork: you must be comfortable working as part of a small, supportive team, where your input is valued and your ideas are encouraged
