Mandarin-speaking assistant landscape architect
Gustafson Porter + Bowman is looking for a Mandarin-speaking assistant landscape architect to join its growing London practice.
Gustafson Porter + Bowman is an award-winning leading landscape architecture practice which has received public acclaim for creating authentically engaging spaces in a global portfolio. We have several new and exciting projects and are looking for a Mandarin-speaking assistant Landscape Architect to join our friendly, sociable, hard-working and collaborative team based near Camden. Start date: January 2018.
Essential skills and experience:
- two-three years’ post qualification experience
- bilingual to a very high level, written and oral, in both Mandarin and English
- excellent design and graphic skills with the ability to communicate coherent and well-resolved ideas clearly
- accomplished in all relevant software packages – AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Word
- competence in 3D packages – Rhino, Grasshopper
- skilled hand sketching ability would be advantageous
- experience and confidence in liaising with clients and other professionals, and the ability to develop strong relationships with them
- self-motivated with a collaborative team player approach, willing to assist others and share advice
