Architectural Assistant Part 2 / Part 3 Architect

Morph Design Studio is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 Architect to join our studio in the Surrey Hills.

We work from a small rural studio surrounded by fields and have a fun social atmosphere in our growing team. We are a friendly and creative office and can provide excellent training to further your growth as an architectural assistant with support through Part 3 or further development leading architectural projects through all RIBA work stages.

We have some exciting new high-end residential projects across Surrey and London, and are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Part 2 architectural assistant with a minimum two plus year’s experience or a newly qualified Part 3 architect to join us.

The ideal candidate will have worked in all stages of residential projects, is hardworking and passionate about what they do.

You will need to be confident, diligent and approachable, with a good sense of initiative and the desire to lead projects.

• you have a minimum of two years’ work experience as a part 2/3
• good technical ability with clear design intent
• experience of hi end residential construction and detailing
• fluent in Vectorworks and SketchUp (knowledge of a rendering package that can be used with Sketchup would be beneficial)
• experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Office
• excellent design and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail. Good hand drawing and sketching skills would be welcome
• contract administration experience would be a plus
• a full UK driving license with access to transport
• experience on working with a range of people from clients to consultants.
