We are looking for a talented senior architectural technologist to join our dynamic and expanding Architectural team in Bristol. You will have the opportunity to work on an array of projects across a variety of sectors including: commercial, custodial, education, healthcare, industrial, leisure and residential.

Liaising directly with the client and project team, you can expect to become involved in a range of exciting and challenging schemes. As a senior technologist you will be involved in all aspects of a project. You will be encouraged and supported to enhance your design and technical skills and take on new responsibilities.

The role includes:

  • being able to produce design, detailing and specification of projects from inception to completion
  • understanding and working within the project brief, fees and programme
  • liaising with the client all members of the project team
  • assist others with technical information and knowledge
  • supervise and manage members of the team
  • chair design and project meetings
  • working in a multi discipline environment and having the project team around you

About you

We are looking for a competent and proficient senior architectural technologist. If you are creative, proactive, enthusiastic, responsible and a practical person with an interest in sustainable design we would love to hear from you.

Key skills we would like you to have:

  • appropriate qualification – HNC/HND level for technicians or
  • degree in architectural technology BSc(Hons)
  • post qualification experience
  • CIAT membership – highly desirable
  • proficient use of REVIT architecture and experience of NBS specifications
  • ideally experience with Solibri
  • strong knowledge and experience of producing working and detailed construction drawing packages, as well as planning application drawings
  • strong design skills and knowledge of technical standards and regulations
  • can multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • good understanding of BIM
  • can work well with others
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
