Sustainability technical manager

Sheppard Robson is seeking a sustainability technical manager to join its team in London.
We are recruiting for a new role to join our technical team in the London office. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of sustainable design delivery as part of a highly experienced and dedicated team.
The role will work closely with the head of sustainability and wider sustainability group, to help inform the strategy and policies for sustainable design throughout the practice.
Skills/experience required:
- qualified architect or engineer with minimum 5-10 years post qualification experience
- experience in the detail design and delivery of large building projects using different procurement methods
- extensive experience of construction detailing and specification for high performance building fabric
- knowledge of and experience in environmental rating system methodologies such as BREEAM, WELL, SKA, LEED, NABERS, etc.
- detailed knowledge and understanding of current and upcoming environmental policy and legislation. Good working knowledge of NBS specification applications
- good communication and presentation skills
- good knowledge and understanding of the BSRIA Soft Landings
- framework and different Post Occupancy Evaluation methods is preferable.
- good knowledge of RICS Whole Life Carbon Assessment for the Built-Environment, and upcoming measurement/calculation guidance is preferable
