Makower Architects is seeking architects and Part 2 architectural assistants with residential experience to join its team in London.
Immediate start
The successful candidate will work on large scale residential projects and medium scale boutique office projects in planning stages.
We are a vibrant young practice based in Bankside, London. A culturally rooted design led practice specialising in architecture and urbanism, with numerous high-profile projects in the fields of city-making, place-creation and urban heritage. We love cities and in the studio’s work there is a fascination in both place and history being the source and ‘seed’ of design.
The right candidate must meet the following criteria:
- experience in large scale residential projects in the UK
- thorough and advanced knowledge of Revit/BIM
- RIBA stages 0-3 experience
- experience and knowledge of technical housing standards NDSS, London Housing Design Guide, Part M
- experience with residential layouts and accommodation schedules
- excellent visualisation and design skills
- ability to produce illustrative images and CGI quality renders
- advanced knowledge Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- knowledge of Enscape
- good spoken and written English
All candidates must have proof of right to work in the UK. The role is office based in London.
