Zaha Hadid Architects is seeking an experienced bid manager to join its team in London.

The purpose of the role is to support the head of acquisitions in the coordination and analysis of new international leads and direct inquiries. Acquisitions lead will coordinate the preparation and submission of international submissions, proposals and bids, as well as support the practice business development team, develop, review and assist the directors to implement new business strategies and prepare business reports and forecasts.

Areas of responsibility:

  • to manage the evaluation, production and delivery of expressions of interest (EOIs), request for qualifications (RFQs) and other requests for information responses
  • to manage the workflow of two senior bids coordinators; providing input as needed
  • to act as a key point of contact for external consultants and internal departments
  • to work closely with directors to achieve departments long term goals and ensure that operational efficiencies are established and maintained
  • to work collaboratively with the wider communications teams – press/exhibitions/graphics/archives
  • to prepare market intelligence reports
  • maintain and manage the internal bids library
  • providing the key internal players with updated competition timelines and progress reports

Technical skills and qualifications:

  • minimum of six years’ experience working within architecture
  • minimum of six years’ experience within a bid writer/bid manager role – ideally within architecture/engineering/construction
