People + Place Architects is looking for a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its team in Kent, UK.
About us
People + Place Architects are a sustainably focussed practice producing biophilic certified Passive House design. We are an emerging practice with some exciting new residential and community projects.
What we offer
You will be involved in all RIBA work stages from conception through to construction. You will mostly be working remotely, but with regular meetings in and around Kent. Project sites are primarily in Kent and the surrounding counties so a base in this area is essential.
What we need
The role requires a self-starter who is prepared to show initiative, but comfortable with reaching out with questions when required. We believe hand-drawing forms a vital creative connection, so you should not fear the blank page. But you should equally understand the careful accuracy required to work through construction details.
We need your help from the end of January 2023.
We use Vectorworks 3D, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with these would be useful, but not essential.

Salary and contract
Competitive salary offered in-line with the RIBA Architect Salary Guide and based on your experience. Pro-rated for four days a week.
