BDP is seeking a landscape architect to join its team in London, Glasgow and Bristol, UK.
We have a position available at our Bristol studio for a landscape architect looking to develop their professional and technical skills whilst contributing to an exciting programme of high-quality work.
You will have the opportunity to work within our award winning, interdisciplinary practice and contribute to an exciting programme of work including the design of parks, streets, urban spaces and a variety of prestigious buildings across the UK and overseas.
About you
You will have excellent design skills coupled with good relevant experience that demonstrates solid CAD and IT proficiency. Passionate about landscape architecture, you will be keen to develop your personal and professional skills in a supportive environment.
You will demonstrate a collaborative team-working style and enjoy working to tight deadlines. You will be able to work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Additionally, the landscape studio’s in BDP’s London and Glasgow offices are currently seeking graduate, chartered and senior chartered landscape architects, with strong design and technical skills, to contribute to a large, evolving, and exciting programme of work. As a major international interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers, engineers and urbanists, BDP offers a unique opportunity to work on a range of high-profile projects within multi-disciplinary project teams.

- Sponge Park, our climate resilient park created in West Gorton, Manchester won the excellence in water management award in last year’s Landscape Institute Awards. The park is designed with nature-based solutions to ‘drink’ and absorb rainwater, thereby reducing flood risk
- we worked alongside artist Wolfgang Buttress to relocate the HIVE from Milan to Kew Gardens. In 2016 The Hive won a Landscape Institute Award for its immersive impact. A beacon of contemporary art, it continues to stand tall as a striking symbol of the challenges facing bees today
- the Italian Gardens in Weston-Super-Mare won the best pedestrian environment category in the Street Design awards in 2019, they were shortlisted for the Pineapples Awards of that year
