Product engineering coordinator
at Neptune

Neptune is looking for a product engineering coordinator to join its practice in Swindon, UK.

Here at Neptune we’re driven by seasons, not trends, and so our product launches come twice a year – for spring/summer and for autumn/winter. And while each season feels new and fresh, they’re always within the Neptune aesthetic (refined, timeless and British). These are then translated by our product design and development team into the pieces that will join the rest of our collection. Their focus is always on longevity, using the best possible materials and techniques. They also re-design, evolving and tweaking as necessary, making the best even better.

Our product team comprises of a characterful mix of personalities, including engineers and former carpenters, but each is as detail-oriented, creative and intelligent as the next.

Our passion for great design is only equalled by our commitment to keeping our customers are the heart of everything we do. From concept to launch we’re fastidious about the detail. Our research, sourcing of the very best materials and our innovative manufacturing techniques, constantly evolve. So, we really do take every detail into consideration, no matter how big or small.

As an integral part of our team, some of the important parts of your role will include:

  • meticulously ensuring our products are safe, legal and responsibly sourced
  • identifying and coordinating quality feedback requests and product improvements
  • liaising constantly with our manufacturing, quality control and merchandising teams
  • traveling abroad for supplier sourcing and development work with our production teams
  • providing accurate and timely administrative support within the team including all due diligence documentation

This isn’t just a career, it’s a calling, as you’ll be at the heart of bringing exciting ideas to life. If you are a strong coordinator with a genuine interest in sourcing and researching of new technology, engineering and materials, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be an inquisitive and analytical person but you’ll also be able to manage projects and timelines as a matter of course.

If you relish the chance to forge yourself an exciting career with a brand that’s really getting noticed, please get in touch now with your CV and covering letter detailing your current salary.

We’re fortunate to receive hundreds and hundreds of applications every week. You’ll never receive an automated response from us – it’s something that we find too impersonal – and while we try to respond to every email, the sheer volume sometimes makes that difficult. So, if you don’t hear from us within 14 days, this means your application hasn’t been successful. We read every single one though, and if we think you might be relevant for a future role, we’ll keep your details somewhere safe, and will come back to you in the near future. Thank you.
