We are seeking a RIBA Part 2 architectural assistant to join our team in Hackney, London.
For the Senses is a London-based practice that balances people’s functional and emotional needs to create life-enhancing architecture. We work with developers and private clients to realise the potential of thoughtful, intelligent design in creating residential and commercial spaces that people love.
We are looking for a talented and committed team member with the drive and professionalism to work in a vibrant team and deliver multiple projects independently. We are building for the long term and we offer opportunities to grow within the company.
The role requires a minimum of a RIBA Part 2 qualification, ideally two years’ experience in UK practice, including residential projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a professional level of written and spoken English is essential.
The role:
- RIBA Part 2 qualified with minimum two years’ UK experience
- responsible for the general management of the practice
- responsible for running multiple projects
- working closely together with director and other team members
- the main point of contact for clients and consultants
- varied work on all RIBA Plan of Work Stages
The person:
- passionate about architecture
- ambitious all-rounder
- approachable and comfortable with clients and consultants
- aspiring to become an architect and looking for a varied experience in the RIBA Plan of Work stages
- looking for a long-term role
- proficient in Revit and InDesign – the interview process will include a test
- enjoys producing artistic visualisations and diagrams
- good technical knowledge and understanding of detailing
- residential experience preferable
- manages time and meets deadlines
- professional level of written and spoken English
