Brodie Neill is seeking a studio manager on a 12-month maternity cover join its team in London.

Brodie Neill is an innovative furniture design studio in Haggerston east London, led by the award-winning designer, founder and creative director, Brodie Neill. Fusing state of the art technology, traditional design and material expertise, Brodie Neill through the Made in Ratio collection and the Brodie Neill commissions and limited editions produces high quality designed furniture for retail and other clients globally, including museums, galleries and private collectors. Brodie Neill also presents an array of exhibitions and other high profile themed projects annually.
Position:
Working to the managing director, Brodie Neill is looking for an experienced (minimum three years) and organised studio manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, fulfilment and tracking of sales, coordinating projects, production, events and enquiries, Â bookkeeping, assist in the development of digital assets and content for marketing purposes, and a wide range of administrative tasks.
Key candidate criteria:Â

- organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and bring a systemised and logical structure to workflow and individual projects
- resourceful, innovative and able to use initiative to solve problems and create efficiencies
- relevant experience in office or studio management
- excellent communicator with clear verbal, and written communication
- numerate with the ability to record financial information clearly and accurately.
- Highly computer literate and will have experience of:
- Google suite, Microsoft Office (essential), using CRM, project management software and WordPress or Squarespace website management (experience)
- knowledge of Xero (desirable)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign or similar products (desirable)
- have a good eye for design with the ability to demonstrate skills in graphic design, creating clean layouts and presentations, editing images and creating stylised digital materials to support newsletters, website and social media outputs
Key responsibilities, not limited to:
- manage the day-to-day running of the studio, and supporting the management team to deliver studio’s busy work programme
- manage the fulfilment of sales, including tracking sales in CRM, invoicing through Xero, liaising with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses and shipping agent on logistics
- maintaining and updating the terms and conditions, contracts, pricing lists, stock inventory across all online and storage facilities, including both stock and materials
- coordinate, schedule and support the design team on production, including coordinating with workshops, manufacturers and other suppliers
- coordinate and support the delivery of studio projects and events, including managing logistics and setting up and tracking projects through project management software and studio calendar
- develop, design and coordinate invitations, guests lists and marketing materials
- updating the CRM after all projects
- organising and coordinating logistics
- manage project and event budgets and contracts, and ensure efficient use of funds to meet project deliverables
Finance and bookkeeping:
- raise, track and pay invoices and other expenses
- keep up to date with incoming and outgoing expenses through Xero
- prepare accounts for quarterly VAT return
Marketing and design support:
- assist creating digital assets and copy, including for sales lists, client presentations and proposals, invitations, other marketing collateral
- manage and update studio websites, newsletters, and content for other digital platforms
Administration:
- responsible for front of house requirements and presentation of the studio, including managing phones, hospitality for clients and email enquiries
- manage and coordinate the studio diary, meetings, tracking of holiday and sick leave, IT administrations and subscriptions
- maintain and purchase items for the studio, including the stockroom, office space, kitchen and facilities
- manage stock and materials inventories
- maintain project folders and filing
- proactively keep the studio tidy and free of samples unnecessary clutter, organising recycling of redundant samples and equipment
- general office administration, handling post, filing, scanning, ordering studio supplies and ensure everything is in good working order

Benefits:
- working week: five days per week
