Junior interior designer

Lambart & Browne is seeking a junior interior designer to join its studio based in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual seeking to gain insight into the design process & create a foundation on which to develop your career.
The successful candidate will assist the design team, ensuring projects are designed to the highest quality and in line with the client brief. You will need to absorb information quickly and approach any project work with creativity and vision.
Despite being an entry level position, you will be given the opportunity to work on projects, take part in site visits and interact with clients and contractors. You must be organised, personable and value the responsibility of design.
Knowledge of the luxury residential and bespoke design environment will give you an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
- assist with projects from concept to completion
- participate in team meetings and briefs to explore and discuss creative concepts
- research and prepare for design schemes and client presentations
- participate in progress meetings with clients
- assist with specification schedules
- assist senior design team with detail design including floor plans, elevations, custom joinery, architectural details and finishes
- help to source FF&E
Requirements:
- one year experience in interior design or architecture
- experience with Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD
- experience with Esti
- knowledge of materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling
- exceptional communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas
- proficient English written and oral skills
- competence with Microsoft & Adobe suites
- ability to prioritise tasks, working on several projects at once
