My-Architect is seeking a Part 2/3 architect or architectural assistant to join its team in London.

My-Architect is an architectural start-up that provides efficient design-led architectural services for London’s homeowners. We are seeking an exceptional Part 2 or 3 architect with at least three years experience; to join our team and help us deliver outstanding projects for our clients. As a start-up, we offer a challenging environment where candidates will quickly find themselves running projects with a lot of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• lead and manage projects from concept design to completion, working closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals
• conduct measured building surveys, prepare designs in conjunction with clients, manage planning applications and scopes of works to match a homeowner with builders from our network of builders
• attend site visits and meetings as required
• work closely with senior members of the company to consistently refine and improve business processes and practices

Requirements:

• Part 2 architectural qualification or equivalent
• a minimum of three years’ experience in a UK-based architectural practice working on residential projects
• experience in managing and delivering multiple projects at different stages at any one time, from start to finish
• excellent design skills and a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of residential projects
• proficiency using drawing software such as AutoCAD and Vectorworks and design suites like Adobe Creative Suite
• strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policies
• entrepreneurial and curious nature
• a positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
