Part 1/2 architectural assistant

MISK Design London is seeking a Part 1 or Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
MISK is looking for a talented Part 1 or Part 2 architectural assistant with a minimum of two years experience to join their team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- support the creation and development of overall design concepts
- support and assistance to MISK directors
- work closely with MISK’s sister company HALKIN on office layouts, supporting their sales team
- perform work on phases of various interior projects including concept design, design development and construction documents
- preparation of presentation drawings and specifications
- prepare furniture, fixtures and equipment schedules (FF&E)
- liaising directly with contractors and suppliers regarding build projects
- preparing and defining scopes of works for tender
- preparing detailed joinery drawings for fitted furniture where required
- coordination and communication of all aspects of architectural design within multidisciplinary teams as requested
- work directly with other professionals, analyse problems and develop solutions to those problems
- marketing/social media support
Requirements:
- degree holder or above in architectural design or related majors from a recognised English or foreign institution
- good understanding of interior space planning and how to detail joinery
- the ideal individual will be positive, intuitive, and confident in their work
- able to produce high-quality, accurate drawings independently
- enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a small team
- must be organised, used to working to tight deadlines and respond well to feedback
- hands-on skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign
- Rhino/Sketchup/3dsMax and V-Ray will be advantage
- self-motivated, hard-working
- fluency in written and spoken English
- excellent communication skills
- experience of creating and developing design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies by design software or freehand sketch
